Residential Housing
Receive up to €1,800 in support
Power your housing estate with solar energy and save up to €1,800 through SEAI grants. Customers can independently submit the initial grant application or seek our assistance if needed. Jordan McIvor Electrical & Solar PV manages the installation process, submits documentation to SEAI for review, and waits for approval before receiving the grant payment. This grant is a one-time payment deposited directly into the recipient’s bank account post-installation.
Who is eligible?
- All homeowners, including private landlords
- Home built and occupied before 31st December 2020
- No previous funding for Solar PV at this MPRN
Breakdown of SEAI Solar PV Grants for Homeowners
Maximise your savings with the following grant amounts designated for different capacities of solar PV installations:
- Up to 2 kWp: Receive €800 per kWp, with a maximum of €1600, for a two kWp system. This setup typically comprises six to seven solar panels for powering a small to medium-sized home.
- Above 2 kWp: An additional €250 is granted for every kWp exceeding the initial two kWp, up to a four kWp system. This increase encourages larger installations for greater energy production.
- 3 kWp Systems: A total of €1850, in grants, combining the introductory rate for the first two kWp and the additional rate for the third kWp.
- 4 kWp Systems: The maximum grant is €2100, fully utilising SEAI’s offer for residential solar PV systems.
